NuArt is one of the most acclaimed street art festivals in the world. Bringing together artist from all over the world each year since 2000, the tenth year was celebrated by the artist focusing on an outdoor “exhibition”, using the walls of Stavangers developing east side as the canvas. This series was made to document the work for prosperity. Since then, some of the building carrying the art has been torn down to make way for over-priced apartments. I hope the ironi will strike, and a print of these photographs will end up in a frame on a blank wall in a IKEA-esque flat built on the spot where the original once stood.
