Madrugada was an icon on the norwegian rock scene in the last decade. Playing what I can only think of as rock noir, they released several albums before calling it in 2008 following the tragic death of guitarist Robert Buraas. But first they released their last album, titled “Madrugada“, and toured Norway one last time. The first, and last, time I got to see them live was on Folken, in Stavanger, where I had started my studies the same autumn. I had joined the house photo club, and got to shoot the concert. Today, I revisted my archive from that time, and made a new edit and selection.
